The Advanced Wireless Technology Laboratory of our client's Research Center located in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris is dedicated to developing the technology that will be at the heart of future wireless networks. About the Position Within AWT laboratory, our Intelligent Computing and Communications team has the mission of creating disruptive innovations to enable pervasive and on-device learning as well as connected intelligence beyond 5G. Built on its in-house binary-computing AI breakthrough, it is working hard to provide a complete technology development including among other things innovations, theoretical foundation, applications, and eco-system development. We are looking for a senior consultant to join our team in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and work on binary-computing AI technology with a focus on recurrent neural networks and transformers. It includes bibliographic study of related solutions, identification of key directions, solution design, implementation and evaluation as well as theoretical development. Key Responsibilities include Perform a comprehensive survey of low-complexity low-precision training of recurrent neural networks and transformers; Identify key building blocks to realize recurrent neural networks and transformers using our in-house binary-computing technology, then propose concrete design and algorithms for them; Implement and demonstrate the proposed solutions; Write technical report. Required Skills and Experience PhD degree in machine learning, wireless communications, or mathematics; Strong experience (senior level) in research and innovation in the field of machine learning, computer vision, in particular good background in recurrent neural networks and transformer is a must; For machine learning background, having some knowledge in wireless communications is a big plus; Proficiency in Python, C/C++ and coding in general; knowledge of electronics and hardware is a big plus; Excellent communication skills - presentation, oral and smooth communication in English.

Computer Vision Engineer for Vision Systems

Computer Vision Engineer for Vision Systems Initial 6 month contract + extensions Leuven, Belgium As an imaging software engineer you will be responsible for the analysis of images from various cameras and microscope systems. Your main assignment will be to develop and implement vision software to analyze videos and images (microscopic) and provide a solution for detection, identification and classification of cells in fluidic solutions, droplets, flow cells or other microfluidic devices. The assignment Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include: To develop algorithms & software for analysis of images and videos of cells from microfluidic devices; To develop/implement key algorithmic blocks for cell detection, identification, and classification; To execute our imaging software pipeline on large data sets; Interface with other system designers to derive image analysis requirements; Interact with research team & lab technicians to derive user needs. Required knowledge and skills You have a Professional Master's degree in Informatics or equivalent through experience preferably 1-2 years. You have experience in computer vision, machine learning/artificial intelligence and conventional image processing techniques. You have good experience in Python/Matlab and can learn a new programming language rapidly. You have experience with other image processing tools and libraries (e.g. OpenCV, PyQt, CUDA). In addition You are structured, precise and care about details. You attach importance to software robustness, appearance, and user friendliness. You are very customer-oriented. You are a self-motivated team player. You are fluent in English and have good communication skills.
