MEMS Characterization and setup design Expert (temporary assignment) Leuven, Belgium 6 month contract (extendable) You will design and build new set-up for MEMS mirror characterization The assignment · You will build new set-up for MEMS characterization. · You will also characterize of the designed devices. · You will maintain a high standard of literature knowledge to support the design and characterization activities. · You will collaborate with specialists from our cross-disciplinary design and technology teams. Required knowledge and skills · PhD degree in Physics, Mechanics or Electrical Engineering with several years of relevant experience in characterization of MEMS and design of new set-up. · Experience in CAD software to design set-up · Experience in project leading is an asset. · The environment requires a good team player with competent communication and reporting skills. · A good knowledge of English is mandatory. Senior Quality Manager
The quality manager (QMS) is responsible for overall BU Automotive processes, internal audits and compliance of QMS to required standards and frameworks. He is also responsible for coordinating management reviews and continuous improvements with all stakeholders. Responsibilities * Promote principles of quality. * Develop the understanding for our client's Quality Management System and standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 26262 and ASPICE across BU Automotive and associated Product Units which provide products and services to BU Automotive. * Provide support in maintaining QMS by maintaining process documentation and website with changes and improvements. * Build the knowledge on quality processes, identify the gaps and propose improvement actions. * Work with stakeholders to carry out process improvements and QMS changes. * Organize internal audits, coordinate with process owners to implement improvement actions identified in the internal audits. Competencies · Excellent collaborative and communication skills in English, i.e., communicate complex process in a very simple and compelling manner, negotiate and pursue quality case in a complex environment. · Expertise on understanding, interpreting and using ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 26262 and frameworks like ASPICE. · Ability to analyze and propose improvements and pursue them to closure. · Capture and pen down the process - skills to understand and document the processes. · Creative - skills to create flowcharts, presentations and update QMS website. · Should be able to interpret and analyze metrics data. · Knowledge of software development and functional safety concepts is preferred.

ASIC Physical Design Engineer
ASIC Physical Design Engineer Location: Sweden (Initial fully remote working during covid and then partially on site in the future) Role Overview: As a Digital ASIC Physical Design Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with talented colleagues developing future sensor systems to meet future demands for the systems. You will develop sensor technology with focus on the physical implementation of the digital parts. In the ASIC team you will get in touch and be involved in all aspects of ASIC development flow. From ASIC system design, RTL implementation, block and system level verification, synthesis & layout to GDSII and wafer production test. To succeed in the role as a Digital ASIC Physical Design Engineer you need to master synthesis, digital place & route, static timing analysis and need also to be able to support, develop and drive improvements of the physical design flow and process. You will be given opportunities to be part of a team that is responsible for all aspect in HW design, a design that are used by millions every day. As a member in the design team you will have a large possibility to affect the work and the final product by your own ideas. You are also most likely to use your drive and commitment to implement your ideas together with your colleagues. Candidate Profile: Our open and creative environment requires you to be able to drive assignments independently and to self-manage priorities. Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline Hands-on experience in physical design, timing closure and solving congestion problem Excellent understanding industry standard tools for place & route and signoff flows Expert in scripting languages (shell, Perl, TCL) Good knowledge in digital ASIC/FPGA design and verification is a plus Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
