Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Leuven, Belgium (remote working during COVID, onsite required after)

Initial contract till end of 2022 + extensions

Your role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer,
* You are a proud software craftsX, craftswoman, craftsman (https://bits-chips.nl/artikel/cracking-the-code-to-craftsmanship/)
* You will work on the successor of the NxH3670: ultra-low-power-low-latency-audio-for-wireless-gaming-headphone
* You are responsible for one or more peripheral drivers,
* Dependent on the project context, you may be responsible for one or more subsystems, components, or modules too,
* You possibly lead or coach less experienced Software Engineers in the design and implementation.

You have experience in or knowledge about:

* driver and middleware development, preferably application development too,
* ARM architecture and peripherals, preferably M0 or M0+
* embedded programming in C,
* building real-time systems on bare metal or using an RTOS, like FreeRTOS,
* structured debugging,
* interpretation of PCB schematics.
* scripting in Python
* spoken and written English,
* knowledge of design methods and software engineering processes.
