Title: Software Quality Engineer

Location: Erdweg, Germany

Duration: Permanent job

Job type: Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote every week)

Quality Engineer Projects (m/f/d) with a focus on software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Defining and monitoring quality and reliability goals in projects according to customer and product requirements.
• Planning, monitoring and steering of quality assurance and improvement measures in software development projects.
• Definition of controls and standards based on risk analysis results (e.g. FMEA).
• Planning, implementation and monitoring of QRQC-PDCA activities as well as process and system audits.
• Preventive monitoring of development activities to avoid internal and customer incidents.
• Processing customer complaints and planning preventative measures.
• Taking on an expert role within the Q network.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering, information technology or comparable.
• several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in software quality.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and ASPICE, ideally Provisional ASPICE assessor.
• Knowledge of quality tools (FTA / PDCA, QRQC, 8D method, APQP, FMEA, SPC), quality standards (IATF 16949) and auditing (VDA).
• Fluent written and spoken German (atleast B1) and English skills.
