Program Manager Cyber Security

Initial freelance contract till the end of 2024 + extensions

Gratkorn, Austria

Onsite for ramp up first 1-2 weeks, 2 days per week remote possible afterwards

In this position as Program Manager Cybersecurity you will work at our client's Competence Center Crypto and Security, part of the client's CTO organization, which is the industry leader in security know how. This business unit provides security IP and support functions related to Cybersecurity to all of their business lines.

THE ROLE

Today's connected products require increasingly high levels of security assurance to ensure safety and integrity of operation to end-users. Our client is a leader in certification of our products to meet rigorous international standards, international standards including Common Criteria (CC), EMVCo, FIPS 140-3, MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, PBOC and multiple Chinese schemes. Owing to our success our team is growing and we have a new opportunity for Program Manager Cybersecurity.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Take the lead and plan and manage all milestones in the context of the security evaluations and certifications for all their products, i.e. for Java Card Applets in the banking and mobile domain, MIFARE Applets in the transport and ticketing domain, as well as eID Applets in the Secure ID domain.
* Organize and facilitate workshops and audits between our client's project development teams and evaluation labs.
* Monitor project costs, contracts, schedules and resourcing and negotiate changes.
* Manage contract definition and negotiation with partner companies from RFQ to SOW and manage throughout execution.
* Act as organizational interface between internal development teams, evaluation labs, and certification bodies.
* Report to management on project status.
* Perform risk management for running projects and lessons learned for future projects.

YOUR PROFILE

* Master's degree in either Security/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
* A proven track record in managing projects or sub-projects within high technology IC and/or software developments.
* You drive for results, you have excellent communication and networking skills.
* You are self-motivated, you connect really well with your project teams and you have an adaptive way of working.
* Have good English skills (German or French would be an asset).
