.Consol Partners are currently partnered with a tier 1 financial technology firm who are looking for a web application developer on a 12 month rolling contract engagement.
You will play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising web experiences that support the organisations global platforms. This is a hands-on role, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Product, Engineering) to deliver seamless digital experiences.
- Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
- Implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends, tools, and frameworks.
Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript etc.
- Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library
- Experience working with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
