Senior Software Test Engineer

As a Senior Application Tester, you will be responsible for both the functional and technical testing of software products, web applications, and microservices — ensuring they are error-free and deliver the best possible user experience. You will also identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to improving testing processes and product quality.

You will work in an Agile environment as part of a self-managing team, continuously striving to optimize and enhance the delivery of high-quality applications. Your key responsibility is to support the team by testing stories developed during sprints, preventing errors, and ensuring a seamless experience for the end users.

Additionally, you will help triage and refine issues logged from other sources, improving issue quality and relieving the development team.

Develop test cases based on user stories in collaboration with the team.

Perform manual and automated testing on new and existing software components.

Execute and maintain Cypress, Newman/Postman, and Selenium test cases.

Configure automated test cases in a CI/CD pipeline.

Manage, monitor, and prepare test data as required.

Ensure stability, reliability, and continuity of end products.

Log, track, and follow up on bugs and defects.

Conduct risk analysis, assess impact, and communicate findings with the Scrum Master and analysts.

Contribute to process improvements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.

Proven experience (3+ years) in software and application testing.

Strong understanding of Agile methodology and sprint-based delivery.

Expertise in Cucumber, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, and Newman for automated testing.

Strong knowledge of Jira, Lambda Test, and BrowserStack.

Experience testing microservices and web-based applications.

Familiarity with SQL and Java for test scripting.
