Title: Security Expert
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 year contract (extension possible)
Job Type: Remote
Pay Rate: €220 per day gross
Key requirements / Role Focus
- Security Architecture scope (design reviews, threat modelling, reference/reference architectures, security building blocks).
- Embed security into S-SDLC and operationalize technical controls in CI/CD.
- Software supply chain security (SLSA - Level 2): provenance attestations, hermetic/reproducible builds, artifact signing, SBOM generation, and policy enforcement in CI/CD.
- Security Architecture; S-SDLC enablement in CI/CD
- Threat Modelling & risk-based design
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years in Security Architecture
- Ability to translate governance requirements into technical controls integrated into CI/CD.
- Comfortable interacting directly with client-side management or coordinating stakeholder feedback.
Certifications
- CSSLP/GIAC/TOGAF is a strong plus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of secure development and governance-related RFCs through documentation drafting, validation, and delivery of operational guidance (e.g. policies, checklists, dashboards, templates, and awareness materials).
- Ensure that deliverables are aligned with institutional-level practices, quality expectations, and security governance principles applicable in complex public sector or EU institutional environments.
- Work closely with internal QA5 team members, project stakeholders, and designated counterparts at the client side to clarify requirements and iterate on deliverables as needed.
- Produce professional documentation suitable for review, validation, and integration into internal or client-controlled knowledge systems.
