About the Role:
Data Engineer with Data Migration , Pipeline Migration & Palantir
Build and improve the data pipelines that turn healthcare information into reliable measures, reports and published outputs. Positions cover metric calculation, governed data stores, reporting datasets and analytical pipeline migration. Some positions also develop the applications used to review and approve data.
Responsibilities
• Develop reusable transformations and data models, with clear definitions, identifiers, reporting periods and version information.
• Implement validation, merge and correction rules, reliable refresh, and safe recovery or reruns after a failure.
• Integrate approved outputs with reporting and publication services, preserving access controls and the meaning of the data.
• Automate tests and reconcile results with agreed business rules; investigate discrepancies with analysts and testers.
• Maintain reviewed code, monitoring, technical documentation and release evidence for your assigned components.
Essential experience
• Strong SQL and production coding in Python or an analytical language relevant to the assignment.
• Data modelling, transformation design, data quality, reconciliation and reliable pipeline processing.
• Source control, code review, automated testing and practical production troubleshooting.
• Ability to clarify analytical requirements and own an agreed component through testing and release.
Assignment focus
• Foundry delivery: practical Palantir Foundry engineering is required for these positions; work includes metric pipelines, metadata, governed storage and reporting outputs.
• Pipeline migration: understand and refactor existing code, work in the confirmed source and target tools, and prove that analytical results remain correct.
• Data applications: where assigned, proven application delivery is required for review and approval workflows, permissions and audit history using the selected Foundry or custom application approach.
