Opportunity: ServiceNow Change Management Lead / Manager (Advisory & Implementation)
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Change Management Lead / Manager to drive a critical IT Service Management (ITSM) transformation initiative for a major financial services institution. This is a 12-month contract opportunity commencing in January 2026. The role requires a strategic leader capable of owning the future-state Change Management process, providing senior-level advisory, and overseeing the hands-on technical design and configuration within the ServiceNow platform in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Process Leadership
- Process Ownership & Strategy: Define, own, and continually optimize the enterprise-wide Change Management process, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and the client's risk appetite.
- Senior Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert, providing authoritative advice to senior client stakeholders on Change Management governance, policy implementation, and platform utilization.
- Governance Enhancement: Design and implement improvements for the Change Advisory Board (CAB) operations, focusing on efficiency, decision quality, and risk-based assessment.
Technical Implementation & Delivery
- ServiceNow Configuration: Lead the technical design, configuration, and implementation of various Change models (including Standard, Normal, and Emergency) within the ServiceNow ITSM module.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Change Management with other ITSM processes, particularly Configuration Management (CMDB) and Incident/Problem Management.
- Risk Embedding: Translate organizational risk frameworks and regulatory requirements directly into automated workflows and controls within the ServiceNow platform.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in ITSM consulting or leadership roles, with at least 3 years focused specifically on ServiceNow Change Management implementation and leadership.
- Domain Expertise: Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Change Management module and related ITSM applications.
- Certifications: Proven expertise in ITIL v4 Change Management(ITIL certification is highly valued).
- Advisory Skills: Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and advise senior-level stakeholders in complex organizational structures.
- Sector Focus: Demonstrated experience working within the Financial Services sector or other heavily regulated environments is essential.
