Role: Bid Writer
Location: Essen (Hybrid)
Salary: €43,200 – €48,000
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bid Writer to join our client that is in the public sector.
Responsibility:
- Preparing persuasive, high-quality bid documents that meet client requirements.
- Creating storyboards and supporting subject matter experts to bring ideas to life.
- Collaborating with technical and commercial teams to translate complex solutions into clear, compelling narratives.
- Developing well-structured, visually engaging documents in partnership with our design team.
- Highlighting our strengths through winning strategies, case studies, and unique selling points.
- Conducting targeted research and preparing supporting materials for governance reviews.
- Assisting bid managers and colleagues with ad-hoc tasks to ensure timely and polished submissions.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in public sector bidding.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging texts – even under tight deadlines.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
- Confidence in building relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent German language skills (C2 or higher) – both written and spoken.
