Systems Architect

Responsibilities

* Become the Systems Architecture expert and primary contact between Systems Engineering and the FW development team

* Work with the FW team to decompose product level requirements into documented software requirements

* Develop and document functional architectural diagrams (operational concepts, use cases, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.) for use by FW as needed

* Lead FW related risk management activities through facilitation of FMEAs with the FW team

* Develop and maintain traceability matrices between software and product level requirements

* Work with Functional Safety to document and ensure FW compliance with functional and technical safety requirements per ISO-26262

* Support the organizational directive to stand up ASPICE compliant processes

* Support the pursuit & acquisition process through FW/SW base requirements analysis and compliance traceability

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a system/software focused STEM discipline

* 5+ years of system architecture development experience * 3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role * Experience with requirements derivation and tracking tools (DOORS, Jama, JIRA, etc.)

* Experience with architectural development tools (Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, Visual Paradigm, etc.) Preferred Qualifications

* M.S. in Systems Engineering or related discipline

* FW/SW development experience

* Experience with systems engineering in the automotive industry
