Overview
Since 2014 our client have been working on the development of innovative products based on NFC tech- nology, consisting of hardware and software. To date we have successfully launched multiple NFC ICs into the market. Our NFC products are used for example in Point of Sale terminals, wireless charging of wearables (small battery accessories, smart watches, etc.) or in the field of Internet of Things (IoT). The innovative strength of our company, which has now grown to around 60 employees, was also recently confirmed by winning the Austrian Innovation Award 2020/2021 as well as the CES 2022 Innovation Award for one of our products.
We are searching for outstanding people in this domain to strengthen our teams in Graz, APAC and North Amer- ica. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Software Requirements Engineer (f/m/d) in Graz who will be working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Value Chain Partners and Customers to define software specifications to meet market requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Specification for chip FW/SDK
- Device drivers and protocol stacks specification, implementation and integration
- Requirements specification for demonstrator SW (Qt GUI)
- Manage requirements based on feature requests from our customers
- Generate requirements documents in line with Product management, Engineering and Applications (using Jira, Confluence)
- Participate in all technical aspects of products in production as integral part of the definition and develop- ment of future products
- Train level 2 support (AE) on SW system level
Job Profile
- Master in Computer Science, 5+ years industrial experience
- Experience in NFC/RFID protocols, standards and products
- Understanding NFC architecture requirements in mobile and infrastructure segments
- Experienced SW requirements engineer for embedded systems
- Experience in graphical user interface programming (Qt Widgets) for Windows/Linux
- Solid programming skills in C, C++
- Open for customer inputs, self-reflective and self- critical personality
- Readiness for travel (up to 25%)
