SAP Source to Pay (S2P) Project Manager

Initial 12 month contract + extensions

Supporting a global multi-year Transformation Program (S/4HANA) in High Tech Manufacturing

Job Summary
Reporting into the Phoenix Program Director and Global Source to Pay Process Owner, the Phoenix S2P Project Manager will be responsible for supporting a large, complex, high-value strategic change initiative, achieving the objectives of Phoenix Program through the application of Project Management best practice knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques. In this highly visible role, you will have a great opportunity to make a significant and positive impact, partnering with our Source to Pay Organisation to enable their strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated, passionate, and experienced hands-on Project Management professional as well as being self-motivated, self-sufficient individual with demonstrated communication experience presenting work to senior leadership, framing discussions, facilitating collaboration and proven ability to influence others to obtain the expected outcomes.


· Good understanding of the end-to-end Source to Pay process
· Experience/knowledge of SAP Sourcing, Procurement, Material Management and Vendor portal functionality
· Knowledge of Source to Pay integration into SCM, MFG, Finance, Logistics etc
· Middleware knowledge like Tibco
· Experience with migrating at least one ECC to S/4HANA greenfield transformation
· Excellent and demonstratable background in SAP ECC and S/4HANA change management in High Tech manufacturing, preferably semi-conductors
· Good experience in previous projects where the business transformation, harmonization and embracing innovation and new technologies were key scope drivers

Project Management

Project Planning and Execution

· Planning, Execution and Close phases of the project
· With the System integrators and the Program ensure robust project planning, including working with senior leadership and cross functional teams to assess project options and scenarios, and develop mitigation plans
· Plan, control, and execute project scope following Phoenix PMO Excellence prescribed processes and guidelines - AGILE and PMI
· Provide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of project goals and timelines
· Align project standards and artefacts with the Program Office guidance and templates.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

· Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive conflict resolution
· Responsible for managing the S2P Communication Plan and leading communications with key stakeholders and along with the Communication team manage communication to broader group of stakeholders beyond the program
· Ensure Steering Committee and stakeholders remain informed of project progress and any risks or issues that may affect project outcomes
· Ensure stakeholders understand the impact of changes introduced by the project
· Support the Global S2P Process Owner and overall Program Manager in building Executive presentations on S2P progress
· Project level management reporting, including milestone tracking, forecasts, risks, issues, and overall project RAG status

Risk Management

· Responsible for preparing and managing the project Risk Management Plan
· Managing project level risks and issues, taking corrective actions, and raising awareness at Program level
· Developing regular risk assessments and risk mitigations plans
· Timely escalation and resolution of complex issues

Resource and Budget Management

· Work with the Program Manager to ensure program initiatives are correctly planned and resourced

Continuous Improvement and People Development

· Create a project team environment that promotes high performance
· Undertake analysis such as Retrospectives and Lessons Learned to generate insight
· Contributes to the PMO Community of Practice

· A minimum of 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience is required
· Project Management qualifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified) etc preferred
· Demonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic and departmental IT change initiatives, preferably in large, multi-national organizations.
· Expertise in one or more project management Agile methodologies
· Demonstrated depth of Source to Pay knowledge and business acumen obtained from previous experience of project and programs
· Proactive mindset, can adapt easily to a changing environment, excellent in time management
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, including experience managing statistical and financial data
· Strong EQ, leadership, and management skills
· Practical and hands-on approach to delivering outcomes
· Ability to form and maintaining solid working relationship at all levels of the organization
· Great communication and cross-team collaboration skills
