Power BI Software Engineer

Initial 6 month contract + extensions after this

Leuven, Belgium / Remote (2-3 days onsite per week)

You implement effective data analysis and visualization methodologies to facilitate data interpretation, identification of relationships and trends, and facilitate reporting, by e.g. automation of output formats, creating new dashboards.

The assignment

• Optimization of some existing Power BI dashboards and implementation of new requests;
• Link between us and the internal requestor from our development groups;
• Document the set-up of the dashboards and the supporting scripts;
• Where needed, training of people how to deal with the provided data infrastructure.

Required skills and knowledge

• Power BI expert;
• Scripting knowledge (Python, ...), mostly for automation and data pipelines creation;
• Familiar with databases and SQL;
• Experience with cloud-based solutions;
• Having experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Power Automate, …) is a plus.
• Given the international character of our client, good knowledge of (spoken and written) English is a must.
