MEMS Characterization and setup design Expert (temporary assignment)
Leuven, Belgium
6 month contract (extendable)

You will design and build new set-up for MEMS mirror characterization

The assignment
· You will build new set-up for MEMS characterization.
· You will also characterize of the designed devices.
· You will maintain a high standard of literature knowledge to support the design and characterization activities.
· You will collaborate with specialists from our cross-disciplinary design and technology teams.

Required knowledge and skills
· PhD degree in Physics, Mechanics or Electrical Engineering with several years of relevant experience in characterization of MEMS and design of new set-up.
· Experience in CAD software to design set-up
· Experience in project leading is an asset.
· The environment requires a good team player with competent communication and reporting skills.
· A good knowledge of English is mandatory.

In addition, experience
· in writing code or routines using Matlab or Python.
· in conceptual system design and system testing
· in MEMS characterization
