IT Project Delivery Manager - ASAP Start - London

IT Project manager required on a permanent basis for a company in the sports events space. You will be working in a small team where you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery of key change initiatives and other work streams. You will report directly to the Head of IT and sit closely with the digital transformation directorate.

Role:

  • Support the Head of IT/Project Sponsor in creating Business Cases
  • Ensure all commercial agreements are appropriate and in line with agreed delivery models and any third-party suppliers
  • Apply best practice and lessons learned to promote the value of Project Management services to the wider business
  • Create regular project reports that are of a high quality and meet audience needs
  • Manage and maintain project Change Control processes and ensure policy guidelines and rules are maintained, clearly defining planned changes, and assess the potential impacts of them
  • Take ownership of the successful delivery and implementation of programmes from the initial inception through to delivery and end. Ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and are of great quality.
  • Resolve all programme related escalations in a timely manner
  • Safeguard the financial metrics for the project, ensuring they are correct across programmes and project delivery
  • Develop work-flow charts and diagrams, monitoring system capabilities and generate specifications

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Project reporting principles and project/programme best practice
  • Experience of the stages of the project life cycle, inception to implementation and closure
  • Experience of delivering multiple programmes
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite and tools
  • Knowledge of Monday.com project management tool
  • Previous experience of working with programme sponsors
  • Internal & External stakeholder management
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with those from both technical and non-technical backgrounds

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Location: South London, England (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)
