Financial Controller - 12 Month FTC - Up to £60,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity here at ConSol Partners for a commercial-minded Financial Controller. This position will initially be for a 12 month FTC period however has the potential to be extended dependent on business needs.

Our business currently operates within the tech market across the UK, US and Europe. We would expect the successful applicant to have worked in a recruitment agency, have multicurrency exposure and have worked within the US and EMEA regions.

The FC role is a pivotal position within the organisation. To provide strong support to the CFO and other senior management from a financial, strategic and commercial perspective whilst ensuring operational excellence, financial control and compliance with Group policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running payroll for all staff members
• Ensure meaningful consolidated monthly management accounts are being prepared and reporting on performance to Executives and the Board.
• Treasury and cash management duties
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
• Prepare statutory accounts and manage the annual audit process and be the first line of contact with external auditors, banks and other authorities
• Support the CFO on a range of duties and responsibilities.

Required Experience:

• Master's degree in accounting or equivalent (desirable)
• Proven experience in finance management
• Proven experience within recruitment industry
• Good communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Auditing experience
• Compliance oriented
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE Line 50, Bullhorn, InTime
• Analytical skills
