Senior Electronics Development Engineer
Salary: from 3000 € to 5000 € net per month
Location: 1 hour from Oslo (remote until Q1 2022)
Start date and duration: ASAP, 6/12 months contract (chance to go perm)

Consol Partners' client is a technology company in Norway, focusing on the creation of products from medical displays, all the way through to Image processing and projectors. Seeing beyond the image, they develop sight, sound, and sharing solutions, with a focus on Enterprise, Healthcare and Entertainment. Consol Partners' client is currently looking to hire Senior Electronics Development Engineer to join ther R&D Electronics team. The R&D Team designs and develops world-class, high-resolution projectors used for pilot, naval or ground simulated training, amusement rides and attractions, concerts and events or high-end home cinema.
THE ROLE
- Working with a team of product and module owners to translate product requirements into product designs
- High-speed CPU & FPGA digital design, test, and verification
- Safeguarding module and product design for EMC and safety compliance
- Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers around the globe
- Occasional international travel
THE INDIVIDUAL
You have a MSc or BSc relevant to electronics/hardware development, and:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Professional experience with, and knowledge of, high-speed electronic design principles and tools
- Experience with EDA tools such as Mentor Xpedition Designer, or similar
- A broad knowledge of electronics design including FPGAs, MCU, CPU, power design, IEC regulations and EMI/EMC design
- Knowledge of software tools and environments such C++, Python, or Linux are a plus
- Experience with Hyperlink or similar simulation and modelling tools is not a must, but is a big plus
- Good written and oral communication skills in English, Norwegian is a plus
