C++ Software Developer

Oslo (fully on-site)

My client is Building a cutting-edge mixed reality production software which allows media producers and content creators to produce new and exciting mixed reality content for TV, web streaming, and film.

A global company with headquarters in Norway, with customers are from every continent. They are currently looking to hire a C++ software developer to help architect, develop, and maintain the internals of their flagship application, which essentially the software behind their mixed reality solutions platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop on Camera and object tracking systems
  • Cutting edge 3D graphics development
  • Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high quality code
  • Work closely with the product design team to create functional and efficient solutions and applications
  • Work in a continuous delivery agile environment
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team, and company culture
  • Keep up to date on cutting edge technologies
  • Ensure code is following established testing protocols

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline, or equivalent in training and experience
  • C++ development experience (2-7 years exp.)
  • Experience of programming for Windows in Visual Studio
  • Good diagnostic skills - able to debug code, solve problems, and test
  • Good task management with ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate fluently and write documentation in English
  • Source control with git

Nice to have

  • Experience with Computer Vision and Camera tracking technologies
  • Experience with scripting in Python
  • Experience with Qt interface toolkit or JavaScript
  • Experience with game engines:
  • Unreal Engine 4, Unity 3D
  • Experience in TV broadcast or film industries
  • Understanding of cameras, physics and optics
  • Interest in photography
