Atlassian Administrator - 6 Month Contract - Remote

Atlassian Admin required immediately for a large international media client to be responsible for the development of Jira and confluence and IT Systems Admin.

You will be tasked with supporting the business on Jira projects, confluence spaces and provide new ideas or processes for using the Atlassian suite more effectively.

Experience:

  • Experience in the administration, configuration and support of Jira
  • Deep understanding of Atlassian architecture, focusing on JIRA, Jira Service Desk and Confluence with a deep understanding of modularized workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes
  • Working knowledge of using Jira REST API or other REST based web services
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Bash, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, Go or Java
  • Experience with system logging and monitoring
  • Proficiency in Linux server command line troubleshooting utilities
  • Experience in working with relational databases (ORACLE, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Jenkins
  • Ability to take ownership of projects / deliveries
  • Ability to confidently communicate plans to various stakeholders
