ConSol Partners are proud to announce that we will be partaking in the Donate Your Day initiative to celebrate this year’s World Refugee Day on the 20th June.
Donate Your Day is run by War Child, a charity close to many of us at ConSol Partners, who provide aid and care for children around the world that have been affected by conflict. Objectives of War Child include providing crucial support to children who have been displaced or orphaned as well as victims of violence, ensuring they are safe, gain access to education and can begin to recover from the traumas they have faced and rebuild their lives.
On average, we work 250 days per year; Donate Your Day empowers us to gift one day’s worth of our salary. Funds raised makes a real difference to the most vulnerable children living in some of the worst conflict-affected places in the world, from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Yemen.
Support from staff at ConSol Partners in the lead up to Donate Your Day has been tremendous and to celebrate their generosity, we entered every participant into a raffle. The top prize being a pair of tickets to the War Child supporting concert at the O2 Arena in Shepherd’s Bush on the 22ndMay. Headliners including Jess Glynne, Jake Bugg and The 1975 which was enjoyed by two of our (very excited) recruitment consultants.
ConSol Partners are also hosting an exclusive party in cahoots with War Child as a further “thank you” for partaking staff on the 20th June, World Refugee Day.
